Tracy Anderson’s – post pregnancy workout

Ok this is not yoga, but…

After my delivery my abs felt so weak (obviously:)) and I just couldn’t imagine how I am going to do double leg raises again. Then I remembered that I had a post pregnancy workout DVD from Tracy Anderson and this came to the rescue!

Tracy is a former professional dancer and currently trainer of celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna, etc.. She experienced considerable weight gain during her pregnancy and after. She began her research and has developed a method for showing women, how to regain their abdominal strength after delivery and transform their bodies. The exercises are rather slow paced and very detailed, paying attention to your muscles you are working on. Also got a bit of a dance element to it which I love.

The session is about 45 minutes long and consist three parts. After a short warm up, an almost half an hour abs strengthening, then glutes and legs, finishing it off with arms. Calming classical music is played throughout the session.

Overall it is a fun exercise and will definitely strengthen and work you out!
