Maca is a great hormone balancing herb. And you can use it in your snacks like in this one.
As I am on the go a lot, I always carry something to snack on. So when hunger kicks in, I can avoid the temptation of getting unhealthy stuff {yes, even I slip sometimes 🙂 }
Ingredients:
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup prunes
1/2 cup dates
1 cup walnuts
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp cacao powder
Sesame seeds and coconut flakes to decorate
Method: In a food processor, pulse the dry ingredients. Then gradually add the raisins, prunes and dates. Form small balls from the mixture. Roll them in sesame seeds or coconut flakes. Store them in an air tight container in the fridge.
